The purpose of the association is to best represent the interests of the shareholders of Fingerprint Cards in ensuring that the company is managed in a constructive and financially sound manner, aiming to provide the shareholders with the best possible return on their investment. By collectively working for the benefit of the company, minority shareholders within the association can form a substantial group that holds significance and can influence the direction and well-being of the company.
In pursuit of this objective, the association shall work towards:
- Ensuring the collection of proxies, enabling the appointed representative of the association to have a significant shareholding to represent at upcoming shareholders’ meetings.
- Disseminating information and providing a platform for discussion among Fingerprint Cards shareholders.
- On specific occasions before a shareholders’ meeting, having the opportunity to gather proxies from all shareholders to address individual issues or to act according to the consensus of the association regarding the company’s affairs.
By representing a large number of shareholders, the association can exert influence in various ways, such as through a nomination committee. It is important that board members possess market experience, expertise in business development, a wide network of contacts, and a strong commitment to Fingerprint Cards.
